Dr. Tigyi

Veterinarian

Dr. Andras Tigyi’s parents immigrated to the United States from Hungary in the mid-1980s, and he was born in Los Angeles, California. His family then moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he grew up and calls home. Dr. Tigyi loves his hometown and is a self-proclaimed BBQ enthusiast (and snob!). He is also a Tennessee Vol for Life, as well as a loyal fan of the Memphis Grizzlies basketball team. He has one cat, Opal, and two dogs, Ernest and Eleanor. In his spare time, Dr. Tigyi enjoys attending sporting events, the great outdoors, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Tigyi graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science focusing on Companion Animals. He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2014. After graduating from UT, Dr. Tigyi practiced for almost nine years at a private small animal clinic until 2023, serving families of the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek communities. He has also worked extensively in relief at emergency and urgent care clinics all over metropolitan Atlanta. Dr. Tigyi’s special interests in veterinary medicine include soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care medicine.

Over the last decade, Dr. Tigyi’s career calling and passion materialized. His goal at Camden Village Animal Hospital is to create a veterinary hospital that lays its foundation on forming relationships with families and being able to serve their individual needs. Naturally, his hospital patients would receive only the highest standard of medical care. Internally, the medical team would be rooted in service to the client and patient but also in service to each other within the team.

Kat

Groomer

Meet Kat! Kat is a 2024 graduate of the Georgia Grooming Academy in Powder Springs, GA. She is a talented groomer who has a keen eye for breed- specific hair styles. Kat’s love and passion for grooming shines through when she is in her element in the grooming salon. Kat also attends continuing education courses, learning new techniques and tricks for her craft.

During her time away from the grooming salon, Kat enjoys spending time with her sweet little boy, and the rest of her family. She has 2 dogs of her own, as well.

Joyce

Groomer

Come meet Joyce! Joyce has been grooming since 1991. Her love and passion has made her a caring, and patient groomer. There is not a dog or cat that doesn’t love hanging out with Joyce. She will always keep the family updated on how your pet did during the grooming process. She makes great recommendations for your pet’s health, based on her and Dr. Tigyi’s collaboration and assessment.

Joyce has 4 pets of her own, and puts in a lot of time helping out rescue organizations fostering before the pups are adopted. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her closest friends at the lake. She has a great sense of humor, and enjoys making us laugh as well.
